Julia T. Thompson honed her litigation skills as an assistant public defender in Miami for 3 years. In 1995, she moved to Colorado and has since focused her energies on medical malpractice and personal injury law. Ms. Thompson is admitted to practice in Colorado and the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado.

Julia has been on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association since 2000 and is currently Co-Chair of the Medical Malpractice Committee. She also served as the Vice President of the Colorado Women's Bar Association, and was on it's board for over six years. She is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and the American Association for Justice.

Ms. Thompson earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Boston College Law School and received her Bachelor of Art's degree from Haverford College.
